This is my first read from Glenn Rolge and man, did I pick a fantastic book to start with. I am a big fan of well-written vampire novels, and this book blew me away. This reminded me a bit of The Lost Boys because of the 1980s time period but it is unique in its own right.
Fair warning, Glenn Rolfe holds no punches when it comes to brutality in violence. I loved it and it is to be expected in a novel like this, but it may not be everyone’s cup of tea.
I flew through this novel in one sitting. I could not put it down. Action, brilliant characters, a visual setting that was easy to get lost in…this is what vampire novels should be like.
Highly, highly recommended!!
