#BOOKREVIEW | Mind Home – Joel Ross Whitehead @JoelRossWhiteh1 #amreading #bookblogger

Hi everyone!

Today I am reviewing Mind Home by Joel Ross Whitehead! Let me know what you think in the comments!

Special thanks to Joel for providing a complimentary copy in exchange for a review.

Gosling Wakefield is a reclusive, tormented soul haunted by the shades of his past. Self exiled in his home, his mental state is scarred and diminishing.

His only chance of redemption is the challenge he must make into his inner recess. Only there will he find his resolve.

Lucid, surreal and present in solid obscurity, his search for peace begins in his mind home.

Review:

Mind Home is one of those novels you pick up thinking you know what you’re getting yourself into and then WHAM! The novel blows you away! It’s thought-provoking and incredibly insightful. I’ve never read a novel that takes on the torment of mental illness the way Mind Home does.

If you or anyone you know has struggled with any kind of mental health issues, Gosling Wakefield will be incredibly relatable. He is in an incredibly fragile state that isn’t helped by alcohol. The horror he endures from his inner voices are so mind bending. I honestly couldn’t put this novel down.

I refuse to spoil any of this for you. Pick up Mind Home and read it for yourself. In the end, it is an inspiring and real look into mental health with the hope we need more of in this world. Highly recommended!!
